Conan O Brien New York City, Jan 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) “The Jay Leno Show,” has had very low and uninspiring ratings since it made its debut in September. So NBC is looking to shake up things a bit, so Jay Leno’s show is being moved up. And because of this, all the other late night shows would have also to be shuffled up, and this includes “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien” and “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.” Conan is very upset at all these developments and there is mounting speculation that he might shift loyalties to Fox.

Fox executives have expressed some interest in O’Brien and they might offer him a show that starts at 11 p.m. EST. Conan O’Brien waited five years after being promised the “Tonight” show and its time slot after the late local news. He moved his family and staff from New York to California. And he took all those pains for a show that lasted just 6 months.

NBC Universal Television Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gaspin said he had given Leno, O’Brien and Jimmy Fallon (whose show would start at 1:05 a.m.) the weekend to think about the plan.

“I would love the three of them to stay at NBC,” Gaspin said.
