London, July 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mike Jagger was awarded the knighthood in 2003 by the Prince of Wales, as the Queen refused to honor him.

The queen refused to do the honors as she didn’t see eye to eye with Mike Jagger’s anti-establishment views. Mike Jagger had also dubbed the queen as the Chief Witch and he had also said that “anarchy is the only slight glimmer of hope”.

Ex prime minister Tony Blair had tried to include Mike Jagger’s name on the knighthood list on numerous occasions but every time the queen had the last word and she steadfastly refused to accommodate him on that list.

However when he was finally selected to be honored in 2003 then there are rumors which allege that the Queen scheduled a surgery during that period so that she could be spared the horror of honoring Mike Jagger.

This claim was made in a new book about Mike Jagger – “Mick: the wild life and the mad genius of Jagger.” The book quotes a source who said that, “The Queen looked at Mick Jagger’s name on that list, and there was absolutely no way in the world that she was going to take part in that. So she simply arranged to be elsewhere.”
