Whoopi Goldberg to star in West End production of ‘Sister Act’

London, July 08 (ANI): Whoopi Goldberg is said to be in talks to return to the stage as the Mother Superior in London musical Sister Act.
She played Doloris and Sister Mary Clarence in the 1992 movie and its sequel the following year (93).
And the actress-turned-U.S. TV personality has now been lined up to play the role portrayed by Dame Maggie Smith in the film, reports the Daily Star.
Goldberg will reportedly join the cast of the West End show for the production’s final run in October (10).
The actress who is the co-producer of the musical, which is set to transfer to Broadway. (ANI)
