Mumbai, Jan 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The sordid tale of who lifted ‘Five Point Someone’ and how much, just gets murkier and murkier, with each side claiming that they are telling the truth and are being cheated of the due by the other opposing party. Chetan Bhagat had lambasted the ‘3 Idiots’ producers claims that the movie has got just 3-5% from the book, and he allegedly claimed that in fact the movie was 70% from the book.

And now the other party has come forward and rubbished all these claims and said that anyone can go ahead and read the book and see the movie and then decide whether the movie is indeed based 70% on the book or not. The team of ‘3 Idiots’ seemed quite miffed at the alleged allegations from Chetan Bhagat’s side and felt that he is just publicity-hungry.

The team of ‘3 Idiots’ said that Rajkumar Hirani, who is also the director of the movie has worked with Abhijat Joshi, the writer of the film for 3 long years to come out with the script of the movie. The team felt that since the movie is now a hit, having grossed 100 crores in just the first 4 days, has made Chetan insecure, so he is now coming forward and claiming it as his own work. They felt that if he thought so earlier then why didn’t he come forward earlier and speak about these issues before the movie became such a huge hit.
