New York, Sep 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Megan “Meg” Griffin, born in the early 1990’s is a fictional character from the animated television series Family Guy. She debuted in the episode, ‘Death has a Shadow’.

She is the eldest child of Lois and Peter Griffin at 17 years old, sister of Chris and Stewie and half-sister of Bertram.

Meg lives in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island, where she attends James Woods High School. Meg is a wannabe in the school who tries her level best to be accepted as part of the “cool crowd.” She wants acceptance and fame in her school, but sadly she finds neither.

Over the years, she has held various jobs like waitress, intern, singer, servant and even a prostitute.

Her favorite quotes are, ‘I hate you all’, ‘I hate you’ and ‘ I am not a dog, you fat bastard!’

Her appearance is of the plain-Jane type. She wears a hat, spectacles and is over-weight too, possessing a belly-bulge too. She is mostly considered very unattractive too.

She is also usually at the bottom of the family’s pecking order and the butt of her father Peter’s jokes due to her homeliness, tendency toward social unacceptance, non-existent social life and lack of popularity. However, another student named Neil Goldman is attracted to her, maybe because of her geeky looks. She has been so self-conscious about herself that she engaged in dangerous sexual behavior just to seek attention from everybody.
