Year after year talented, both young and mature, people are used up and tossed when they become “problemactic”.
Now, when problems escolate to the point of being ‘news’ publisists, assistants, family, friends, PR machines kick in. Not to help, rather to protect an image for fear of what it will do to the person’s rep. and or jobs which may not be gotten if ‘word’ got out.
By the time reality becomes known it shared by the doctor who has called time of death.
Too many have died needlessly. If someone, not related or connected to them through business etc, had the obligation (moral and legal), to intervein and make the medical and or legal choices the person in question is unable to make for themselves. Of course they will not want anyone interfering. There would and should be legal actions taken, the Court (if it has to go that far) having weighed the evidence and finding the person incapable, assiging a Guardian on that person’s behalf . Whatever is deceided, at least someone who’s thinking isn’t clouded by chemicals, monentary - business interests or love, will have done everything possible to gain the actor, singer, writer, talent, human being, the opportunity to step away from a situation clearly out of their control and have a chance to make the changes needed so they will survive. This scenerio does work, I have seen it and been part of it for years. Not with “Stars”, but with people equally important.
