“Who Do You Think You Are?” Hits Small Screen

sarahLos Angeles, March 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) NBC channel’s “Who Do You Think You Are?”, which is an adaptation of the popular British show is hoping big draw in America as well. The Chanel premiered the first episode of its show in America on Mar 5.

NBC’s “Who Do you think you are?” helps stars from Sarah Jessica Parker to Brook Shields to trace their roots along with the experts on the show. The stars visited their own old relatives to gather information. They also visited the historians and spoke to experts from other related fields. As the show hit the small screen, the audience found Sarah Jessica Parker tracing her genealogy in the first episode. The audience got to see Sarah Jessica Parker’s mother, whom the actress visited during the show in New Jersey. She also traveled to California, Cincinnati, Boston and Salem. The beautiful actress seemed all amazed to learn that her ancestors were in some way related to a witch trial at Salem.

All that Sarah Jessica Parker could manage to speak was that she cannot believe the revelations which the show led her to. Sarah Jessica Parker’s great grandfathers, according to the show, left their home in Cincinnati for California during the period of Gold Rush. The other stars who will come to the show are Lisa Kudrow, Spike Lee, Matthew Broderick, Susan Sarandon and Emmitt Smith. Though the show has gained popularity as many people were glued to their television set to see their favorite star tracing their history, what many people complained about was the presentation of the show.
