Feb 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) BET’s Celebration of Gospel, emerged a hot and spicy speculation about the ace singer, Whitney Houston. This time, it was not because of her drug abuse of crazy behavior, but her tight dress. Although, on a normal occasion, the tight dress would not have been a big issue, the controversy stirred, when it made her voluptuous mid-section too conspicuous and gave an impression that she was pregnant.

No one is sure whether what came up through the show is true, or just an illusion. Sources also have other possibilities in mind. Firstly, she is undergoing a heavy treatment for her respiratory infection, for which she is subjected to regular steroid injections as part of her treatment. This could be one cause of her weight gain and big tummy, that made her look like pregnant in the show. The second possibility could be her habit of over eating before the appearance. According to many people, she is not pregnant because, she is already 47 years old, and is therefore biologically incapable of conceiving. Moreover, considering the fact that she is still undergoing a treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, she would perhaps not think about getting pregnant right now. All those who believe that despite all the above mentioned limitations, she has the potential and guts to get pregnant, are now wondering who is at all the father of this unborn child?

In the show, the singer, who was otherwise quite skinny, wore a short body hugging gray dress, as she sang around with the other singers present on the stage. However, most of the audiences’ attention, were more on her anticipated “baby bumps” than her singing. Whitney Houston already has a sixteen year old daughter, Bobbi.
