London, Apr 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Whitney Houston is reportedly suffering from a respiratory infection, and so she was forced to postpone three more shows on her European tour. She was scheduled to have a show in Manchester on the 8th and the 9th of April, and in Glasgow on the 11th of April. But her record label said that they have been postponed in lieu of her illness. Prior to this, she had already postponed a show in the French capital. The next show in her current itinerary, is on the 13th of April in Birmingham. There is no news whether this show has been postponed or not.

The 46 years old Whitney Houston’s Manchester shows would now be held on the 16th and the 17th of June, whereas her Glasgow show has been shifted to the 1st of May.

Her record label RCA Label Group said in a statement that, “Doctors visited Whitney late last night in Paris and confirmed that she was suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Upon medical advice Whitney has been advised that she cannot perform to allow her time to recover.” There were also reports that she had been admitted in a hospital, to get medical treatment for her throat and respiratory system infections.
