London, Sep 4 (IANS) Gwyneth Paltrow bumped into Ricky Gervais at Starbucks here.

Over the weekend Paltrow stepped out for a stroll with her children and decided to stop and have a coffee break in Belsize Park. There she bumped into Gervais and his partner Jane Fallon as she approached the drinks shop.

They were all smiles as they stopped and chatted with one another.

Dressed in jeans, flat ankle boots and a cream hooded jacket, Paltrow looked relaxed as she tried to go incognito for her walk. Ricky, dressed in jeans, was all smiles as she stopped for a chat with the Hollywood actress while her bodyguard looked after her little white dog, reports dailymail.co.uk.

After saying bye to Gervais, Paltrow and her children - Apple and Moses - entered into Starbucks and there they were treated to another surprise fellow celebrity spot, actress Kate Hudson and her partner, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy.

And they were seen animatedly greeting each other before chatting away inside.

While she seemed to be lapping up her time in London, it has recently been reported that she is planning to uproot to Los Angeles with husband Chris Martin.

The couple have splashed out on a $10.45 million mansion in Brentwood’s Mandeville Canyon. Coldplay frontman Martin and Paltrow have apparently decided to make it their permanent base for the immediate future because LA-born Paltrow wants to spend more time with her mother Blythe Danner.

A source told RadarOnline: “Chris and Gwyneth have wanted to move to Los Angeles for a while,’ a source said. Gwyneth spends a lot time between Britain and the US and she’s exhausted. The purpose of buying the lavish home in Brentwood was to make that a semi-permanent base.

“Gwyneth spends a lot of time away from her mom Blythe and wants to be near her as she gets older. Chris was very understanding and is willing to give living in Los Angeles a chance because he’s always loved the city.”
