New York, December 24 (ANI): American singer Mary J. Blige left husband Kendu Isaacs bleeding after punching him in the face over his reported flirty antics at her recent record release party.

The nine-time Grammy Award-winner was said to have slugged Isaacs after he purportedly tried to charm a waitress at club M2.

“She turned to him and was screaming, ‘You’re not going to ruin my night,’” the New York Post quoted a witness as saying.

“They got up in each other’s faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face,” the witness added.

The couple and their entourage were later led to a door to the attached club Pink.

The witness continued: “She was yelling at him, ‘What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?’ Four of her bodyguards and two of the club’s kept them apart.”

A rep for Blige said: “People lie and don’t know what they’re talking about.” (ANI)
