Washington, Dec 13 (ANI): Actor Gerard Butler has admitted that he nearly damaged co-star Hilary Swanks eye while shooting for their new movie P.S. I Love You.

The 38-year-old star disclosed that he accidentally smacked Hilary with his braces coming close to causing serious damage to the 33-year-old actress eye.

“Hilary was fantastic - so egoless, so accomplished and talented - but I did try to kill her, yes. It was with my braces, Contactmusic quoted Butler, as saying

I cleverly managed to get the clip stuck behind me on this cupboard, the elastic was at full stretch, and I didn’t realise,

It unclipped itself and smacked her forehead and she went down like she’d been shot, he added.

The Timeline star said that his braces were so sharp that it could have taken out the Million Dollar Baby actress eye.

“Two inches more and it could have taken her eye out, really, the thing was so sharp!” he said. (ANI)
