When Emma Thompson was caught up in a love triangle with Kate Winslet
March 28th, 2010 - 1:38 pm ICT by ANILondon, March 28 (ANI): Emma Thompson has revealed how she was caught up in a love triangle after her now husband Greg Wise courted Kate Winslet for weeks during the filming of ‘Sense and Sensibility’.
The three actors were shooting for the film sixteen years ago, when a fortune-teller told Wise that he would meet his future wife on set.
Presuming it to be Winslet, Wise courted Winslet for weeks before realising that his real attraction was for Thompson.
Thompson, however, was still married to first husband Kenneth Brannagh at the time.”He courted Kate for weeks. He took her to Glastonbury. She didn’t take to it because she’s a mod and he’s a hippy,” the Telegraph quoted her as saying on BBC One’s Tonight with Jonathan Ross show.
After Thompson’s divorce from Branagh in 1995, Winslet helped her get together with Wise. (ANI)
