New York, June 13 (ANI): Those who went to see Anne Hathway’s performance at Central Park were greeted by a surprise entertainer on stage-a raccoon.

The mammal strolled on stage while the ‘Princess Diaries’ actress performed “Twelfth Night” in front of the audience.

“She and Audra McDonald were doing the first act when it just wandered onstage,” the New York Post quoted a witness at the Public Theatre production at the Delacorte as saying.

The source added: “The audience started laughing and gasping, and it wasn’t a funny scene. Then the raccoon wandered off, but the girls had no idea what had happened until later.” (ANI)
