There is good amount of information available on the web for those who cannot decide between creative and creepy costumes. Here is a list of don’t for both guys and girls to ensure that their Halloween costume does not look out of place. As manners dictate “Ladies first”, the first few Halloween costume tips are for females. French girls are extremely pretty but as per a site if someone is dressing up like a French maid without knowing any French, then they are just catering to men’s fantasy.

So French maid, school girl and sexy insects are a big no. Th awkward costumes that bears a resemblance with insects are too common a dress nowadays. School girl’s dress was made famous by Britney Spears in “Baby one more time” but that was a decade ago. It is time to show some creativity. If one wants to look sophisticated then a suit like Hillary Clinton is definitely better then that of Sarah Palin. In case of males dressing up like Bill Gates, a spartan from “300″, a political candidate, Captain Jack Sparrow and any kind of superhero should be avoided.

Unless one has a six or eight pack to show off, going shirtless like a spartan isn’t a sound idea. People are sick of politics and a political candidate is enough to depress everyone and send them home. While Superhero costumes are cool they are more suitable for eleven years old. Last but not the least, the only person who could carry the look of Jack Sparrow is Johny Depp himself, so avoid the pirate look.
