Westlife’s Kian Egan becomes a dad
December 22nd, 2011 - 10:19 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Dec 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Westlife star Kian Egan and wife Jodi Albert celebrated the birth of their first baby on Tuesday (the 20th of December 2011). The baby was born at the Sligo General Hospital just after 6:00 in the evening.
Egan was present at the hospital and shortly after seeing the baby delivered he took to Twitter to let the whole world know the news. The singer wrote on his official Twitter page that, “Out little baby boy “Koa” was born today at 6.10 pm. Jodi Albert is an amazing woman. Love them both so much. Both doing amazing, so proud. X”
Koa is the name of the baby and Egan revealed that the mother and child are doing well. Egan has anticipated the birth of the baby for sometime revealing in previous interviews that he can’t wait to become a father.
He was on Twitter again on Wednesday thanking all his fans for the tremendous support that they showed. He revealed that the messages that he has received from the public after the news of the baby’s delivery has shocked him.
Egan is scheduled to become a coach on the Irish talent hunt show The Voice of Ireland.
