weird-alAug 26,(THAINDIAN NEWS) “Weird Al” Yankovic has recently made headlines when he announced that he might parody Lady Gaga’s song in his upcoming album, media reports. “Weird Al” Yankovic is famous for his humorous songs that make light of popular culture and that often parody specific songs by contemporary musical acts. The media reports that he has already recorded nine numbers for his new CD but the American singer-songwriter needs three more songs to complete it.

“Weird Al” Yankovic has not confirmed anything to the media but the media speculates that his new album includes Lady Gaga’s famous “Whatever You Like” single’s parody. However, other sources say that “Weird Al” Yankovic is also thinking of doing the parody of Lady Gaga’s popular song “Bad Romance” or “Telephone”. The Grammy Award-winning parodist is presently in the middle of his Billboard tour and when asked about his upcoming album he said that he needs to write three more parodies. The “Straight Outta Lynwood” singer also added that it is tough for him because he is waiting for the right idea to “pop” into his head. The satirist did not confirm if he is considering to parody Lady Gaga’s songs but for him she seems to be a “great candidate”.

“Weird Al” Yankovic also said about his upcoming album that the right idea in his mind should coincide with the right “song” and then he can make a parody of it. The “White & Nerdy” singer hopes that he will be able to compose three more songs by the end of this year. He said that if he fails to compose the songs at the end of this year, then he is hoping that he will make it next year sometime.
