The Bong actress, Noynikka Chakroborthy debuted on television with the Star Plus show, Jahan Pe Basera Ho but ever since the show went off air, the actress has been missing from the lime light.
“I had been away from the glam light as I was busy working on myself. During the shoot of the show, I had put on lots of weight, so now I am busy shedding those kilos to come back with a bang,” says Noynikka.
The actress had been on a break since 4-5 months. “I wanted to take a break, as it was too hectic when it comes to the shoot of dailies. After the show went off air I had been in Dubai at my sister’s place. Though I have returned back to India, but will be soon flying back as the shopping festival is going on in Dubai,” she adds further.
She has gone the Kareena way to lose her weight. “With power yoga I had been following the gym regularly and I’m doing weights and cardio exercises. Now I have realised that it’s not at all easy to lose weight,” she laughs.
Noynikka had put on 10 kg while shooting. “This was my biggest fear, but I am trying to get out of it. I have lost much weight, but still it will take me bit more time to come back on screen. I am looking out for only main lead roles and a good script,” she concludes.
The actress was offered Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag and Love Ne Mila Di Jodi but due to her weighty issues she had to take a back seat.
