Wedding bells for Manisha

April 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actress Manisha Koirala will be settling down finally. She is set to marry Kathmandu-based businessman Samrat Dahal.
The marriage has been fixed by their families, who have known each other for a long time. Manisha gave her approval for the marriage when her mother spoke to her about Samrat. An auspicious date has been set for the wedding, after consulting an astrologer.
Manisha was earlier speculated to be marrying American author Christopher Dolan, after they bonded over books in Paris.
Samrat, an MBA from the US, is handling his family business in Kathmandu and is in the process of setting up an alternative energy company in Nepal. The wedding, which will be a typical Nepali one, will be attended by some of Manisha’s friends like Deepti Naval, Anu, Avinash and Paulomi Sanghvi.
Manisha had once announced that she would like to settle down when she reaches 40 and she seems to be doing just that.
She will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s My Friend Pinto, which stars Naseeruddin Shah and Pratik. She debuted in 1989 with Subhash Ghai’s Saudagar and was last seen in a Prosenjit starrer Bengali film.
