Wayne Rooney has true Hollywood star quality: ‘Babel’ director
December 13th, 2010 - 5:38 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 13 (ANI): Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has all the qualities to make it big in Hollywood, says director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.
The Mexican moviemaker directed Rooney and Real Madrid poster-boy Cristiano Ronaldo in a recent TV commercial and insisted only one of them has true Hollywood star quality.
“Wayne is a natural. He’s from the streets and has a warrior appeal that could serve him well in movies,” the Daily Express quoted Inarritu as saying.
“Cristiano was very uncomfortable during filming and even had a panic attack at one point. I don’t see him making it as an actor,” he added. (ANI)
