Warren Buffett to star in ‘The Office’ season finale
May 11th, 2011 - 12:03 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York City, May 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) NBC’s hit show “The Office” current season will come to an end on Thursday and reports on the Internet suggest that investor billionaire Warren Buffett will make a guest appearance on the last episode.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Buffett’s character has not been named. The report says the character will interview for the position of Michael Scott who happens to be the character of Steve Carell. Stars like Will Arnett, Ricky Gervais, Catherine Tate, Ray Romano, Jim Carrey and James Spader have all been confirmed for the show.
The episode promises to be tough for the investment guru. He has enjoyed tremendous success in the real world when it comes to making money and doing charitable works. Born on the 30th of August 1930, Buffett is currently regarded as one of the best investors the world has ever seen. He recently caused a stir when he suggested that billionaires should be made to pay more in taxes.
According to Forbes estimates, Buffett is worth about $50 billion. He has already promised to give off 99 percent of his money to charity before he dies. He has also teamed up with Bill Gates’ foundation to support several causes.
