Warren Beatty hints at directorial comeback
May 3rd, 2011 - 5:18 pm ICT by ANILondon, May 3 (ANI): Six years after he retired from Hollywood, writer-director-producer-actor Warren Beatty has hinted he is preparing to make another movie.
The 74-year-old stepped out of the spotlight in 2005 after a successful career spanning nearly 50 years.
He was interviewed by fellow actor Alec Baldwin at the weekend (30-01May11) as part of the TCM (Turner Classic Movies) Film Festival in Los Angeles, and teased fans by suggesting he needs to make a new film to support his four kids with wife Annette Bening, reports the Daily Express.
Beatty said, “I have four kids - 11, 14, 16 and 19 - that I think of as small Middle Eastern countries with whom I have to negotiate.
“Each one of them is more interesting than five movies. But I’m gonna make another movie. In fact, I’ll make several. It would be better for them,” he added. (ANI)
