Randy Quaid Santa Barbara, Apr 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Arrest warrants have being once again issued for Randy Quaid and his wife, when they failed to appear in a Santa Barbara court on Monday. They are wanted on charges of cheating a hotel owner, as they haven’t paid their hotel bills. When they failed to show up for their court date on Monday, then the case was postponed to the next day, but on Tuesday also they didn’t appear in the court, according to the Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter. So now the judge had no option but to issue arrest warrants for them, once again.

It may be recalled that in December 2009, actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested in connection with an ongoing non-payment of hotel bills case. The case is that the Quaids are accused of not paying a bill at the Santa Barbara hotel, in which they stayed in 2008. The hotel bill was to the tune of $10,000, which the Quaids refused to pay. They were released on a bail of $40,000 in December 2009.

Randy Quaid is well known for his work in the “National Lampoon’s Vacation” movies, as well as “Brokeback Mountain,” “The Paper,” “Kingpin” and “Independence Day.”
