Lindsay Lohan came close to being arrested again on Tuesday after her bracelet sounded an alarm.

The bracelet that detects the consumption of alcohol and and goes off when someone tampers with it was given to Lindsay Lohan in May after missing a probation hearing for her drunken driving case in 2007. Her bracelet went off five times reportedly after the MTV Movie Award Night.

The bracelet is better known as SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor) and has been quite a scandal in itself for the ‘Parent Trap’ star. The court first issued a warrant during her drunken-driving arrest in 2007.

At that time the bail was 100K. On Tuesday the court issued another arrest warrant with a bail of 200K. This warrant too reportedly has been recalled after her bail bondsman David Perez paid 10% of the $200K bond.

Lindsay Lohan tweeted that there was no physical possibility for the device to go off and that she hadn’t done anything herself. But Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, revealed in a statement that the SCRAM bracelet indicated the “presence of a small amount of alcohol”.

The quantity of consumption though was not assessable. The detection came immediately after the awards ceremony.

There is a possibility for Lindsay Lohan to get arrested again due to the recent violation of the court orders. The Beverly Hills Judge has called in the prosecutors and Lindsay Lohan’s attorneys for a meeting that is reportedly taking place behind closed doors.

The woman who has been unable to stay out of the news for a long time now, is now looking at really troubled times ahead.
