Warner Bros. to distribute Dev Anand’s film
August 10th, 2011 - 12:33 pm ICT by IANSMumbai, Aug 10 (IANS) Warner Bros. Pictures India will be distributing “Chargesheet”, the latest venture by legendary filmmaker Dev Anand who has written, produced and directed the film.
“I am very thrilled to have Warner Bros. on board to distribute the film in India. I have grown up watching Warner films and have almost learnt filmmaking from their Hollywood films,” Dev Anand said in a statement.
“It is a great moment also for Navketan Films - one of the oldest active film studios in the country to collaborate with Warner Bros.,” Dev Anand said in a statement.
“Chargesheet” is a suspense drama that stars Dev Anand along with Naseeruddin Shah, Jackie Shroff, Divya Dutta, Riya Sen in a guest appearance and politician Amar Singh in a special appearance.
“It’s a great pleasure to be associated with Dev Anand - the legend. We have immense love and respect for Dev Saab and it is an honour working with him on ‘Chargesheet’,” said Denzil Dias, deputy managing director (Theatrical), Warner Bros., India.
The film is slated to hit the screens Sep 30.
