Sep 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Wall Street 2 did amazingly well at the box office. The two lead characters in the movie are Michael Douglas and Shia LeBoef.

Douglas stars as Gordon Gekko, who is offered a deal to punish a competitor that tries to mastermind a forceful takeover of LeBoef’s company for pocket change due to the financial meltdown. The movie is full of action and Gekko’s character maintains his conviction and support for greed.

However one funny thing that happens in the movie is that Gekko is in a relationship with the daughter of LeBoef and that association is not known by either of them.

2001 is the date of the movie’s setting and Gekko gets out of jail after being implicated in a securities scandal. His daughter and wife decided to kick him out of their lives so he gets out of jail with no loved ones waiting to welcome him outside.

Wall Street 2 was the top earning movie over the weekend after grossing $7 million, which was $2 million more than second placed The Town starring Ben Affleck. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps is the sequel to the earlier movie, and Michael Douglas’ ex-wife is trying her best to get a cut of the money that Michael has made from the movie.
