‘Walking Dead’ premiere sets new rating records
February 15th, 2012 - 7:37 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Feb 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The survivors at the end of the midseason finale of The Walking Dead had to overcome the difficult circumstances that they found themselves. The premiere of the next episode called “Nebraska” continues from where the last scene ended.
Following the barn massacre, the survivors stood at the farm in shock. Hershel advised Rick and his group to leave the farm. Hershel in his grief made his way to town without the knowledge of anyone. He was nowhere to be found when his youngest daughter collapsed inexplicably.
When Rick and Glenn finally found Hershel, he admitted to them that he has been wrong all along with his view of the walkers. With that, Hershel became very distraught because he had always held on to the belief that the walkers were actually not dead and could be cured. With the change of his belief, Hershel comes to the harsh realization that his daughters are indeed dead. The group settle to mourn Carol as well.
The Walking Dead is exclusive to AMC showing on Sunday at 9 pm EST. This is the second season of the show and the strong showing of the premiere has placed the show on a solid footing for the season.
