Los Angeles, Oct 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an incident that can be described both as funny and shocking, a waiter lost his job after he tweeted about the Hung actress who did not leave him a tip.

Waiter Jon-Barrett Ingels at the Beverly Hills restaurant Barney Greengrass served Adams. Later, when the time came to pay the bill, then it turned out that she didn’t have enough cash on her person , so she asked that she would get her chequebook from the car. She was allowed to go because of her celebrity status but she never returned back with the money.

Later the next day, her representative paid up the bill, but didn’t leave any tip. This irked the waiter who tweeted about it that, “Jane Adams, star of HBO series ‘Hung’ skipped out on a $13.44 check. Her agent called and paid the following day. NO TIP!!!”

The tweet came to Adam’s notice and she returned to the hotel to pay up the tip and complain about the tweet, which eventually led Ingels to be fired.

Ingels, who has a young daughter, told the LA Times publication BrandX that he had so far failed to find a new employment and was still angry with the actress. But he added: “In the end, if I didn’t write anything, I would still have a job.”
