Well the speciality of this family would be better understood if people actually got to see the idealistic cosy cottage of the Von Trapp family. At traveler appreciatively said of the ski-lodge, “For fans of the Sound Of Music, it’s the ultimate nostalgia trip:Maria Von Trapp’s Austrian-style lodge complete with live music and family sing-alongs, but it’s the real deal, not kitschy.” It is indeed the extension of the homeliness and compassion of a home so truly beautiful that “The Sound Of Music” will try to convey to its audience. It is for good reason that The Trapp Family Lodge is used in good faith for the Vermont Mozart Festival each year.
