According to a media entity, the genologists working for Ancestry.com have linked the hunky Twilight actor to the famous Transylvenia lord Vlad the Impaler. The latter is the one on whom Bram Stoker based his timeless tale of Dracula! According to the genologists Vlad the Impaler is also linked to the British Royal family. If the findings are true then Robert Pattinson is linked to the Princes and Vlad becomes their distant uncle. This is a startling discovery though the authenticity remains to be verified.

Whether it is true or not the theory is sure to excite the fans of the hot actor who will ensure that Eclipse sweeps the box office. The actor has also become amazed about this link. He expressed his wonder and said it has made him thinking. The fans may now say this is the reason why their heartthrob suits the role of the vampire so well onscreen. The source also claims that the author of the Twilight novels, Stephenie Meyer is also linked to Vlad.
