Mumbai, June 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS)- The shocking death of former supermodel Viveka Babajee has sent shock wavers in the Mumbai modeling industry. The ravishing model who acted in several international and Indian ad projects was found hanging from ceiling fan yesterday in her Bandra apartment.

She was 37 years old.

The actual reason behind her death is yet to be known though the preliminary police investigation suggests suicide. She was former Miss Mauritius. In the late 190s she was the reigning queen in the modeling industry and worked with top fashion designers in India.

The glamorous model was reportedly going through a phase of depression as her family members claim. The depression was owing to a break up with her boyfriend.

However, she has not left any suicide note in her room.

The neighbors of the gorgeous model smelt the rat last evening when they could feel gas was leaking from her apartment. They wanted to alert her but did not get any response on knocking on her door and ringing the bell several times. They decided to call the police then who entered her apartment.

Her lifeless body was hanging in her room. It looks like a suicide but the cops are waiting till the post mortem reports arrive.

She shot into fame after action in the sensual Kamasutra condom ad. Apart from that she bagged many prestigious projects in her career. She also acted in small roles in Bollywood films.

No one from the industry including her friends and colleagues thought she would take such an extreme step and they are too shocked to react.
