August 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Vivek Oberoi is probably not a man loved by destiny! Just few days back, the actor disclosed his marriage plans to Priyanka in Bangalore on October 29 and now a court notice is issued to him regarding a recovery suit.

The Delhi High Court has sent this legal notice to Vivek and his firm Yashi Multimedia Private Limited, based in Delhi. Mumbai’s Mehta Entertainment filed a suit against them seeking a recovery suit.

The actor’s father, renowned veteran actor, Suresh Oberoi and his sister Megha Oberoi are also partners of the firm so their name also appears in the notice. The court has asked them to reply by November 1.

According to the suit filed by Mehta Entertainment, Vivek signed an agreement with the company in 2003 to do some stage shows in the US and Canada. But, the actor failed to oblige by citing bad health. An amount of $3 lakh had been reportedly received by the actor’s company for the performance.

The Mehta Entertainment has said that they sent several letters to the Oberois asking them to return the money but they did not respond. Now, the entertainment company has sought Rs.4.86 crore as damages.

Well, we wish Vivek manages to come out of this problem very soon so that he can enjoy his wedding peacefully in October!
