Vivan Bhatena is an actor who is quite admired for his work on the small screen. This actor had first come into the limelight after winning the Mr. India title in 2004.Vivan has appeared in quite a number of roles in serials such as Choona Hai Aasmaan in 2007, Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Khabhi Bahu Thi, Kum Kum etc. His most loved character on the small screen is the role of Shabd in the serial Maayka.
This young actor is still remembered for his first music video appearance in Falguni Pathak’s “Tune Payal Hai Chankayee.” His foray into the silver screen was in flicks like Chake De and Karthik Calling Karthik where he was noticed for his sincere work.
Vivan has done small roles in movies in ‘Chak De! India’ and ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’. He has also worked as a VJ for Channel V. Vivan’s latest role is in Zee TV’s Sanskaar Lakshmi. His attachment to theatre is also quite passionate and he has performed in a play on 26/11 Mumbai attacks during the New York festival.
Reportedly the actor has stated that acting in plays and getting involved in theatre has largely helped him to face the camera with confidence. This is one actor who believes in an all round perfection.
The actor admits his stint in theatre has largely helped him gain confidence to face the camera. However the actor also believes that television is such a medium where one just cannot carve a niche for oneself. This is one platform which keeps changing its form of entertainment, be it comedy, romance or whatever. According to the actor it is the theme for the moment that it important. Thus if one season has comedy then all channels foray into that genre. Thus for an actor to stay put in one niche is not quite feasible on television.
Well with his kind of talent Vivan is sure to perform his best no matter what genre he decides to follow.
