Virsa, the much awaited Indo Pak Punjabi film, is the first truly international Punjabi film with cast and crew from India, Pakistan and Australia. The movie brings together the best of the talent from these three countries.
Virsa movie is a joint venture between India and Pakistan. Jung group/ Geo endorsed it as Aman ki Asha project in Pakistan. In India Times Group is also endorsing it as Aman ki Asha.
“Aman Ki Asha’, is a joint venture between Pakistan’s Jang Group and Geo and India’s Times of India Group to promote peace. Virsa deals with the expatriate Punjabi community and its crisis of identity and morality as it tries to blend in with the new community around it even as it tries to preserve its age-old values and culture and traditions from back home in Punjab.
A Wize Mindz Entertainment production presented by One World Entertainment, Virsa also marks the launch of Aarya Babbar into Punjabi films opposite Mehreen Raheal, a Pakistani actress.
