Virginia Madsen’s costar Neal McDonough fired for not enacting sex scenes

Los Angeles, Apr 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Neal McDonough has been fired from the ABC series ‘Scoundrels’ because he refused to film steamy sex scenes with Virginia Madsen. Since he is a Catholic and a family man, so he not comfortable in enacting the love scenes on-air, with his co-star Virginia.

Even though the show had been filmed for 3 days, but when Neal refused to do the hot and steamy scenes, then the producers had no option but to replace him with actor David James Elliott. ABC officials said about the replacement that it was a mere casting change. They didn’t want to elaborate more on the matter. And it is also being said that Neal could lose up to $1 million for sticking to his principles.

This is not the first time that Neal has thrown tantrums for not doing love scenes. In the past too, he has steadfastly refused to do them and has stuck to his principles. In Desperate Housewives – Season 5, he refused to enact sex scenes with his co-star Nicolette Sheridan, and in NBC’s ‘Boomtown’ he refused to do the same with his on-screen girlfriend. “It has cost him jobs, but the man is sticking to his principles,” according to a source.
