Sep 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) After a short retirement, Vincent D’Onofrio will again come back to give his power packed performance in the 10th and the final season of “Law and Order: Criminal Intent”. After a prolonged deal with the actor, the USA Network has finally decided to conclude one of the most prestigious shows in the history of American television. The news was announced by Jeff Wachtel, the President of Original Programming USA and co-head original content Universal Cable Productions.
This decision had to be taken as its rating was slowly degenerating and it has to be called off air after airing 8 episodes. Vincent D’Onofrio, who played the role of the protagonist, detective Robert Goren, once did his job with so much conviction, that his on-screen name became an indispensable part of his life. Other “Law and Order: Criminal Intent” actors like Kathryn Erbe, will also be called back in order to give it a dignified ending. The last ten episodes will be aired in 2011 on NBC Channel. Every single artist who had once been part of the show, is very excited to be back on the floor of the historical action packed series, “Law and Order”. It seems that for one last time, they are all set to give it their best shot.
The show is produced by Wolf Films in association with Universal Cable Productions and developed by Rene Balcer. Shot in New York, the show gave the viewers an insight to the criminal psychology. Vincent D’Onofrio has also been seen in several other TV programs like Men in Black, “The Series Homicide”, “Life on the Street”, “The Equalizer”, “Miami Vice” etc.
