Dec 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The world is wishing a heart felt congratulations to the new proud parents of the two day old baby Locklyn. Any guesses who her parents are? It is none other than actor Vince Vaughn and his wife Kyla Weber. It just took the couple two days to give their daughter the most rare and creative name, that is rarely heard in United States.

The newborn’s full name is Locklyn Kyla Vaughn. Locklyn is a traditional Scottish name inspired from the word Lachlan, that signifies “Lake Land”. The “land of the lochs” as the Norwegian immigrants historically referred to it, slowly got reduced to the word “Lachlan”. However, instead of ending the word with “lan”, they opted for “Lyn” to make it phonetically more feminine. A name ending with “Lyn” is not rare these days. However, preceding “Lyn” with “Lock”, makes it all more unique, considering the rare and unique meaning of the word. Some sources have reported the celebrity couple went “super creative” while naming their first baby. Kyla Weber abided by her family tradition of using the maiden name of the mother, as the middle name of the child. Vince Vaughn on the other hand, made an exception by not complying to his family tradition of keeping “V” as the initials in the baby’s name. It seems that the super stylish mom and dad are not just conscious about wearing the most spectacularly stylish clothes, but also call their baby by a super stylish name.

Locklyn Kyla Vaughn weighs about 7 pounds and measures about 20 inches. She is a beautiful bonny baby, who brought with her the most blissful feeling of parenthood for her mom and dad. Let us all hope, that she does something as unique and remarkable, just like her rare name.
