October 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Vince Neil, singer with the 80’s group ‘Motley Crue’ is scheduled to be in court today for his arraignment on DUI and speeding charges which he acquired earlier in the year. He was arrested by the Los Vegas Metropolitan Police back in June. The police had been searching for him because he was a suspect in a camera smashing incident in which he allegedly took a camera away from a woman who was taking his picture, and crushed it.

As the police searched for him, they received a call about a possible intoxicated driver, and they gave up the search for the camera smasher. Much to their surprise, the suspect for both incidents was one and the same man.

Both of today’s charges are misdemeanors to which Neil is expected to enter a plea. It is one of several DUI incidents which Neil has been involved in, including a car crash in 1984 in which Neil’s passenger, Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley, was killed and two others were seriously injured. At that time, he plead guilty to manslaughter and served 20 days in jail, paying 2.5 million dollars in restitution.
