Vin Diesel quits ‘xXx’ sequel
October 17th, 2009 - 1:17 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Oct 17 (IANS) Hollywood muscleman Vin Diesel has reportedly pulled out of his “xXx” comeback.
The action hero is no longer attached to “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” Diesel’s departure follows news director Rob Cohen quitting the project this summer. He was replaced by little-known moviemaker Ericson Core, reports imdb.com.
Diesel had been training for the film since August but details about the reasons for his sudden departure from the project have not been released.
Diesel initially agreed to return to the ‘xXx’ franchise after rapper-actor Ice Cube played the lead in “xXx 2: State of The Union.”
