Feb 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Followed by the grand success of “Yaavarum Nalam’, filmmaker Vikram K Kumar had geared up for a sci-fi thriller titled “24′. The film was reported to be produced by Mohan Natarajan (producer of Surya starrer “VEL’) with Vikram featured in lead role.

On the spur moment, we hear the closer sources revealing that Vikram Kumar has been dropped out from the project. It seems that Vikram will now join hands with director Boopathy Pandian for a commercial film churned out by the same producer.

Since, Tollywood’s hottie Ileana was almost signed for the project, she maybe involved in this film instead. Sources from both the ends have been remaining closemouthed from making official confirmations.

Meanwhile, Boopathy Pandian seems to have lost of offer wielding megaphone for Silambarasan’s upcoming film “Utthama Putthiran’ that was supposed to be produced by filmmaker Lingusamy under the banner of Tirupathi Brothers.
