Vijay Congratulates Dad

June 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Vijay has more reasons to smile as the issues pertaining to the “Theatre Exhibitors’ Association get amicably settled now. Moreover, the actor is close to completing his 51st film “Kavalkaran’ that is being directed by Siddhique. He’ll have his other film “Velayudham’, a remake of yesteryear Telugu blockbuster “Azad’ kick-starting shortly.

But what makes him so jubilant is his father’s upcoming release “Veluthukattu’. The actor has praised his dad for having delivered an enchanting film. The film is based on the lives of contemporary youngsters. Sources close to him have admitted that Vijay never appreciated his father greatly before and it had in fact, happened once with SAC’s yesteryear runaway success “Naan Sigappu Manithan’.

Apart from producing the film, S.A.Chandrasekhar has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues with Senapathy Magan wielding the megaphone. The film was recently given an “U’ certificate and the officials of CBFC have congratulated SAC for having come up with an interesting film along with a good message. Newcomers Kathir and Arundhathi are the lead characters in this film.
