Nov. 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American Music Awards of 2009 was a smash hit, with Jenifer Lopez taking the biggest smash when she fell down during her performance. The performance given by the Latino singer started out with her coming out dressed in a stunning “black and gold boxing dress”, and entering the boxing ring which awaited her. As the performance went ahead, the dancers created a “staircase”, which required the star to climb and then jump down. However, whereas the climbing was smooth, getting down apparently was not. While jumping down, Lopez lost her balance and fell on her famous butt. Being a professional to the core, J Lo ignored the mishap and finished her performance to a round of thundering applause.

The fall may not have usurped the star much, but her fans apparently had a twitter wave, when they witnessed the blunder. Some laughed at the incident while the others spoke in her favor. The God-forsaken video is also available on the net for viewers who have not seen it doing the rounds on the news channels yet.

The JLo performance included the “Louboutins”, with the other performers being Adam Lambert, Whitney Houston, Lady Gaga etc. The Adam Lambert’s performance also witnessed a small glitch, with him slipping during the show. However, his slip did not make much headlines but the whole routine raised eyebrows producing comments which said, that “the whole routine was a bit graphic for a prime time audience”. These comments were raised because Adam’s performance included making out on stage and groping a dancer’s private parts in full public glare.
