London, Dec 15 (IANS) Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has joined a campaign to save the London Printworks textile company from closing.
“I am proud that my business is based in London and it is important that we nurture the skills and talent within the British Fashion Industry,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“The London Printworks is one of the few remaining facilities in Britain that offers the opportunity to create bespoke textiles and their great work has to be supported,” she added.
“Works of arts” will be sold in an attempt to raise money to keep the company open.
