New York, May 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems like some deals are settled over death. This is exactly the case for Dennis Hopper who passed away on Saturday. Dennis Hopper was aged 74 and was fighting prostate cancer for a long time. Reportedly, Dennis Hopper had been trying to put an end to the divorce trauma with his wife Victoria Duffy but only continued to carry it on for 12 long years. The tragic part of the story is that the divorce never gained grounds with reality. To make matters worse, Dennis Hopper passed away before the final scores for the divorce could be settled.

In all probability, Dennis Hopper’s estate property shall be grabbed over his death. This is accordance to the pre-nuptial agreement which he had entered with Victoria Hopper. The agreement says that Victoria Duffy is entitled to receive 25% of Dennis Hopper’s wealth. Besides she shall also receive a total amount of $250,000 as the life insurance payout.

It is speculated that Victoria Duffy would definitely put forward an argument against the probate hearings which is said to be adjusted following the clauses stated in the prenuptial agreement. Dennis Hopper met Victoria Duffy at the “Rebecca’s” which was a favorite eating place for the actor. Following their meet, they soon came close and ended up in the wedlock. Time and again, the actor had mentioned how his wife shared a great chemistry with him. He once said that Victoria Duffy is always concerned about him and that she never failed to offer a solution to any problems. Sadly enough, they had a rough tussle settling their divorce scores right. With Dennis Hoppers death, the joint custody of their daughter Galen Grier Hopper will now pass on to Victoria Duffy alone.
