megan1In light of the recent happenings concerning one of its participant’s alleged involvement in the Jasmine Fiore murder case, VH1 has released the official statement of postponing further episodes of “Megan Wants A Millionaire” episodes.

This step has been taken, according to the network, because of the tragic incidents that connects the show very closely to the murder of the 28 year old swimsuit model.

VH1 made the announcement on their official website, about the show in which the stunner Megan Hauserman gets to chose her man amidst a gang of millionaire suitors who are willing to go to any extent to win the lady’s heart.

The 32 year old Ryan Alexander Jenkins was one of the contestants on the reality show (he was rumored to be one among the finalists too), besides being a part of another forthcoming show titled “I Love Monet 3,” which was to be on air in sometime. According to sources, VH1 may club “I Love Money 3″ all together from being aired (it was rumored that Jenkins had won the show). Since the dead body of Fiore has been discovered, stuffed in a bag and dumped in a trash can, Jenkins has gone missing. Police suspect that he is on the run, with the intention to escape to Canada.

The official statement on the VH1 website states: “Ryan Jenkins was a contestant on Megan Wants A Millionaire, an outside production, produced and owned by 51 Minds, that is licensed to VH1. The show completed production at the end of March. Given the unfortunate circumstances, VH1 has postponed any future airings. This is a tragic situation and our thoughts go out to the victim’s family.”
