With Vijay’s “Vettaikaran’ slated to hit screens this Friday (December 18), a special show for the entire team was screened last evening at Four Frames Theatre, Chennai.

Well, it was a simple affair as the screening took place without any media channels being invited. But the closer sources revealed something interesting about Babu Sivan, who makes his debut directorial with “Vettaikaran’.

It seems that producers of Sun Pictures had personally invited Babu Sivan’s family for the show. Since, the director had already decided that his family members must watch the film along with general audiences in theatres; they didn’t accompany him for this special screening.

The distributors have already proclaimed that “Vettaikaran’ would surely overshadow the previous records of Vijay’s films. Although, the film has already done good business at box office, the debutant is eagerly looking out for day of release so as to experience the feedback from audiences.
