Veteran Tamil actor-producer K. Balaji is dead
May 2nd, 2009 - 9:24 pm ICT by IANSChennai, May 2 (IANS) Veteran Tamil actor and producer K. Balaji died here Saturday, his family members said. He was in the 70s.
He was not keeping good health for the last few days, they said.
Balaji was a versatile actor and had essayed roles of hero as well as villain. He had acted in hit films like “Padithale Mattum Podhuma” and “Bale Pandya”.
Under his company Sujatha Cine Combines, Balaji had produced blockblusters like “Billa”, “Needhi”, “Vaazhkai”, “Savaal”, “Viduthalai” and “Sattham”.
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is his son-in-law.
