Hyderabad, June 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Tollywood T20 cricket tournament that is being played by the movie stars of Tollywood film industry kicked off today with huge pomp and show. The Tollywood T20 tournament on the whole has four teams who shall fight it out against each other to emerge as the champions in the tournament. The Tollywood T20 cricket tournament is a noble attempt from the movie stars of the Tamil Film Industry to raise funds for the economically backward artists of the industry.

The four captains of the team are namely Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, and Chiranjeevi. Superstar Najarjuna leads the Nag Kings Team which includes Taraka Ratna who is the vice captain of the team along with Rajiv Kanakala, Naga Chaitanya, Raja Ravindra, Sumanth, Khayyum, Ravi Prakash, Ram, Allari Ravi, Siddarth, Nani, Varun Sandesh, Paruchuri Ravi, Krishnudu, Uday Kiran Raghava and Paramesh. Chiranjeevi as the captain of the Chiru Cheetahs Team has Ayyappa Sharma, Ramcharan Teja, Akash, Sivabalaji, Ravi Teja, Rana, Sachin, Allu Arjun, Nithin, Raghu, Vaibhav, Ajay, Brahmaji, Raghavendra, Jeevi, Srihari, Madala Ravi, Sandeep and Vadde Naveen in his team.

Balayya Lions Team follows the lead of captain Balkrishna with Jr.NTR as the vice captain of the team. The team members includes Prabhas, Sushanth, Gopichand Ravi Sai, O. Kalyan, Rajasekhar, Sameer, Navadeep, Dasari Arunkumar, Ali, Bhoopal, Sashank, Sharwanand and Kamalkar. Venkatesh who happens to be the captain of Venky Warriors has Tarun, Srikanth, Allari Naresh, Manoj, Kalyanram, Naveen Reddy, Venkat, Adarsh, Rohit, Sivaji, Kaushik, Aryan Rajesh, Nikhil, Raja, Nara Rohit, Raja, Ramana Chitram Seenu, Sivaji and Srinivasa Reddy in the team. In the first match of the tournament the Venky Warriors have beaten the Balayya Lions by seven wickets to spare. Adarsh was the top scorer with 33 runs.
