Venky to play hero in ‘Savitri’

May 26, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Did Venkatesh accept to play in the direction of Teja. This has become the hottest topic among the film circles in Film Nagar. According to information, DV Sureshbabu had agreed to produce the film and “Savitri’ is the title under consideration for the movie. After the biggest dud in his career like “Keka’, Teja had taken a long gap and kept himself away from the Telugu film industry for a long time. During this time, Teja had prepared a perfect subject for the movie. Presently, Venkatesh is busy playing the lead in the sequel to “Chandramukhi’ and the shooting of the film is progressing in and around Vizianagaram. Special sets were erected for the purpose. This sequel is being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, while P Vasu is directing the movie. Even as this film is on sets, “Savitri’ would also be done simultaneously, sources added.
