Vatican Names Homer Simpson a “True Catholic”

In what some are calling a “lame attempt at being cool” the ‘L’Osservatore Romano’ confirmed the religious preferences of a cartoon character, stating , “Few people know it, and he does everything he can to hide it, but it is true: Homer J Simpson is a Catholic.”
The article which is titled “Homer and Bart are Catholics” informs the world that the creation of Matt Groening, a beer drinking chubby nuclear plant worker cartoon character known as Homer Simpson is actually a real deal Catholic deep down.
For proof, the paper points out that the Simpson family, “recites prayers before meals and, in their own peculiar way, believes in the life thereafter.” Although it had previously been labeled as okay by the Catholic Church to watch the television cartoon “The Simpsons”, they have now decided to reveal to the world that Homer in indeed a fellow believer.
According to the ‘Telegraph’, “The Vatican doesn’t mind that Homer sleeps during church and serves up “never-ending humiliation” on neighbor Ned Flanders, because he really is a true believer.”
